Councilperson Johnny Vasquez, was elected to serve as Councilperson District 5 in May 2014. Johnny was born and raised in Edna. He is a 1970 graduate of Edna High School. He has worked for several pipeline companies: Lavaca Gathering, Valero Transmission, PG&E and El Paso. Johnny retired from Enterprise Products after 34 years of service. After retiring, Johnny and his wife, Velma, moved back to Edna.
